Tech-innovators are often the leading forces outside their own niche as well, putting groundbreaking ideas in motion and bringing revolution to other industries. No matter how poetic that sounds, technology and construction always go hand in hand, so it’s no wonder tech-giants such as Apple have major impact on the whole industry. For that reason, this week we are taking a glimpse into the impact some big electronic manufactures have on construction.
First (and it’s safe to say – the biggest) company we are talking about is of course Apple and the humongous Apple Campus 2. Not only is the spaceship-like campus huge and in all ways bigger and better than the existing campus, it is so detailed that the pure strive towards perfection has stalled the project. The $5B project features some incredible details, such as the world’s biggest piece of curved glass, perfectly flat doorways… Every single inch of the building is geared towards being as perfect as a building could get.

Apple isn’t the only one though. LG has started construction of their new campus which will allow them to double their employment as well as opens an opportunity to increase the green space. The $300M building is definitely going to be something!

Last but not least, Intel announced recently of their plan to invest $7B to finish their factory in Arizona. The project has been in motion for several years but it seems after recent developments the factory is starting to come together.
